The Historic Elmwood Pinewood and Settlers’ properties encompass more than 70 acres of public space and pays homage to the city’s beginnings.
Settlers’ Cemetery Preservation Initiative
During the late 1990’s, a major restoration occurred in Settlers’ Cemetery. Following that preservation effort, vandalized and damaged headstones remain in storage. A second round of preservation is coming to include the reinstallation of those headstones in 2024.
